I specialize in EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy) and am a Certified Brainspotting Therapist. These treatment modalities are effective for treating trauma, phobias, poor self-esteem and a variety of other issues that people present to counseling for. In my experience of using EMDR, IFS and Brainspotting, I have found these modalities to be effective at helping individuals to heal who have not benefited from other forms of therapy in the past. I utilize mindfulness in my practice, to help individuals to become more aware of themselves, including their thoughts, urges and emotions. By being more aware of ourselves, we can more likely achieve a sense of control over our behaviors. I also have extensive experience with DBT, which provides individuals with the skills that they need in order to not only process through past experiences, but also to deal with life effectively on a daily basis.
